August OCS!!!

Aloha!  I am having soo much fun with this OCS, and then now with this tag swap.  My partner was from da big Big Isle, and she is super talented.  You'll really enjoy her blog, I promise.  I loving having the card in person, pictures just don't do justice.  Here it is above...I met her at one of Teri's classes, and it was so much fun to have her as a partner.

Here's my card.  I used Washi paper that I picked up from Marukai.  It was so pretty, I didn't want to cover it with a huge image, so I went with yoko and ono KETTO from Stamping Bella.  Rhinestones are from Stampin Up, so glad they are doing BLING.  I tried crinkling the ribbon with the embossing gun, but I was afraid I was gonna set the whole thing on fire, hee, hee.
Inside is a sentiment from SU also.  How's that pearl brad?  Isn't it pretty!  Got it from my fav online store:  Tamikos.  Go check it out, she is great!  See ya all tomorrow...plan is to show you the cool tags that I got from my partner.
Also, gotta work on my husband's anniversary card.  Aloha 'oe and have a great Monday.

My first Challenge!!

This is my first challenge that I am doing, and it is sooo much fun.  This challenge is at Karber's blog, and you can find it here.  I needed to make a card for my daughter's classmate birthday.  I totally forgot that the more kids you have the more birthday parties you have to attend, oh well, more reasons to create. :D.  Here's my card...I got the image from Karber, and I love how easy it is to use digital images.  The two sentiments are from Stampin Up, and they make bling bling brads, yippee!!  My next challenge is Tamiko's.
Have a great crafting day, and wish us luck, today is all about SOCCER!!  Bye, My

Party Time with Kadie

Aloha, everyone!!  Kadie is having a big celebration, and check out what she is giving away.  She looks really talented, and I haven't had a chance to check out her posting, but from what I've seen, looks great.  Thanks Joni for sharing the info.  Until we blog again...  :)

I am so blessed!!!

I know I say this often, but I really am.  I went to this Island Girls social, put on by Teri and other angels, and sponsored by Tamiko.  It really was a great opportunity to meet our fellow blogging sisters, and "talk story" (as we say it here in Hawaii nei).  Mahalo nui loa from the bottom of my heart to all you ladies.  I had so much fun, and I am always in awe of the talented women we have here.  I got to meet the creator of Dandelion stamps, Jean, and I have been a fan of her work for a long time.  I was acting giddy, of course, and will post a pix when I get one.
We got to shop at Tamiko's, and it was heaven.  Get your butt over there now, and do some shopping.  She's got great stuff.  We got this cute pink bag, and check out the goodies we got, shown above.  There were four make & takes, and I only got a pix of one of them.  That panda is adorable.  Gotta love that 3M self adhesive paper, made putting that panda together really easy.  This card is really making me want a cricut.
Don't tell my husband ;) hee, hee.  That's all for now, will be back tomorrow to show you the August OCS and tag swap.  Have a blessed day!!!  Also, please be patient with me, I am fairly new to this blogging world, so I promise my pixs will be better in the future.  I take any suggestions, my experts that follow me :D.  Aloha 'oe, see you tomorrow, and go BJ PENN (sorry big fight tomorrow on pay per view)!!!
