Intervention!!

Well, I challenge all of you to use the paper that you have been holding on to.  I am a paper hoarder, and this post is proof.  I used to be a part of the club called "Club Scrap".  Every month I used to get a pizza size box of a scrapbook collection.  I didn't know what the theme was or what would be included, but I loved everything in it.  I finally canx after a year and a half of getting these boxes.  It's been almost five years since I've used this paper.  So, when I needed to make a card for a friend who loves, I mean LOVES red, I discovered this paper that I have been hoarding.  This paper is so beautiful, so beautiful that I couldn't even cover the design on the front card.  What would I have put there??  I decorated the inside and will be putting a gc in it.  I know it may be hard, but please use the paper, you will definitely make someone very very happy :).  Have a blessed day!!

Fun DSP, again!!

Okay, okay, while I wait for my new Greeting Farm stamps, I can't wait...I made another card with the same DSP.  I changed the cs a little and used pink vice melon mambo.  That is what I love about SU is that everything coordinates, so it makes it super duper easy to come up with a card design.  This is a very cheery card, and as I have more and more birthdays, I have learned to embrace the years vice cursing them.  My daughters taught me how to looove birthdays because it is a day for celebrating with balloons, lots and lots of balloons.  So, I will celebrate this 38th birthday with the same amount of passion that my children celebrate every birthday.  It's not my birthday yet, but I guess I'm psyching my self up, hee, hee :).  Have a wonderful weekend!!

Ni Hao, Kai Lan...

My youngest baby loooooves Kai Lan, and we were so blessed to attend my friend's daughter's birthday party.  The card I made previously was made for her daughter.  I posted the cake because it was such a beautiful cake.  It's a local company called Cake Lava, and it even tasted good.  The flavor was banana, and it was 'onolicious.  So, sorry, I didn't make this, but I am ever amazed at what people can do with cake these days.  Have a good hump day aka Wednesday!!

Fun DSP

Aloha from da 808 state!!  It is a beautiful sunny day, and I created a card that represents this sunny day.  I love this DSP, and when you love a DSP it makes card making soooo easy...This paper was part of this past sell-a-bration for SU.  I have a few packets, but not a whole lot, so a part of me wants to hoard, but I won't.  Hope you enjoy it as much as I enjoyed making it.  Have a blessed sunshiny day!

SU Birthday princess

Wow, last post was September 2010, yikes!!!  I have been creating here and there, and I am still working on this whole blogging thing (I'm a slow learner, six months slow ;) ).  What can I say, life happens!  Well, I made a card with those scrapbooking kits from SU, and I love them.  It makes creating pages or cards very easy because it has all this cool paper and embellishments that MATCH, love it!  Let me know if you want some...

August Tag Swap

Happy Monday y'all!!  Here's my tag that I made for the August Tag Swap.  I used all SU products, except the chipboard, which was from the MANY cereal boxes in my house ;).  I first put the glitter on the snowflake, but the glitter is so chunky, I couldn't tell it was a snowflake.  I just adhered it backwards, so you can see the glitter peeking out from the other side.  It was not a mistake, my partner, honest.
Take care everyone, and see you soon :D

Soccer season is upon us!!

Happy Aloha Sunday (Go NY GIANTS!)!!!  Well, this is my first year that I have two keiki playing in AYSO, and we have had three games each so far.  All the games are one after the other, what's the chances, right?!!  What's even more fun is that one keiki has her games in Waimanalo, and the other keiki has her games in Enchanted Lake.  The two locations can be 15 minutes away or can stretch to one hour away, depending on the time and traffic.  Yup, it can be one challenging day, and already we have had to drive two separate cars...I know there are a bunch of parents that can relate :).  Anyways, I was snack mom yesterday, and I wanted to put something special in their lunch bags, so I decorated a whole bunch of notebooks I got from Office Max, and put my favorite Soccer Anya digi stamp.  I decided not to color it because girls at the age of five and six really enjoy coloring, so I left it for them.  I only had to make six, but made eight, just in case.  Gotta love the digi images, so easy to use.  See ya later, have a blessed day :D
